Will supplements help improve performance? That’s a great question that gets asked a lot. Lets dive into this a little deeper. Think of it like this, If you work out and your workouts help you improve performance, and supplements help with your workouts and recovery, then yes, supplements can help improve performance. Now, are supplements a vital role to help you improve performance? The foundation needs to be set with a solid nutrition base, but supplements can help you fill gaps and gain a little advantage.

So, what supplements does Coach Bill Take? Here the breakdown.

Whey Protein – After every workout, I have protein shake to repair my muscle breakdown. When we workout, we actually breakdown our muscles. When those muscles repair is when we are eating and sleeping. Your body literally can’t create new muscle without protein. Research proves that taking protein before and after workouts is the best way to speed muscle tissue repair and gain more lean muscle. Whey is the go to protein to take because it’s absorbed faster than other forms of protein. Driven Whey also includes a full array of vital BCAAs and other amino acids to fuel your muscle growth.

Test+ – I take Test+ every day. As men get older, their testosterone level drop by about 1 percent per year after the age of 30. Test+ was formulated for serious men who want to dramatically increase muscle growth. This formula uses natural, metabolically converted pathways that support testosterone production, maximizing natural growth potential and protecting existing muscle tissue.

Fish Oil – I take fish oil every day. Fish oil supplements have been clinically proven effective in helping relieve joint pain, strengthen bones, reduce inflammation, improve mood and relieve fatigue. Studies show that fish oil supplements also have promise for reducing anxiety and depression symptoms, and improving eye health and vision.

Amino Acid – On workout days I drink aminos later in the day on workout days and I combine this with my berries and greens. Essential BCAAs Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine promote your muscles’ uptake of fuel, boost muscle synthesis, suppress muscle breakdown, increase power and reduce fatigue. When you supplement with Amino, the pure, clean blend of aminos are absorbed quickly and directly, giving you a virtually “instant-on” switch for muscle building. Your body can’t make muscle without branch chain amino acids (BCAAs), and they’re depleted every time you workout.

Berries and Greens – I take berries and greens every day and on training days, I mix with aminos. Berries and Greens packs over 10 servings of 100% organic berry superfoods, vegetables, and sea greens into each drink. The probiotics and digestive enzymes found in berries and greens make your body a recovery machine by promoting the digestion and absorption of nutrients in this formula, as well as the macro and micronutrients from your daily diet. The concentrated phytonutrient greens and berries extracts support liver and kidney health by helping cleanse the body of toxins which, in turn, supports circulatory function, heart health, and the immune system.
