What does Coach Bill have for Breakfast?
Over the past few weeks I have been sitting down and chatting with individuals at the about goals, accomplishments, and struggles in the gym and outside the gym. One of the struggles that has come up has been nutrition. I have been asked how I eat and what I have for breakfast.
As a gym owner I am up early in the mornings to get to the 5am or 6am class to coach. The last thing I want to think about is eating breakfast before I get into my car. I am one of those people that gives myself just enough time in the morning to wake up, get dressed, go to the bathroom, put my contacts in, brush my teeth, pick up my keys and backpack, and get out the door. I do not sit down and relax before I make my way out the door, I get up, and get moving.
As busy as my day gets, I want to grab something quick in the morning and get going. Just like many of you, I don’t have the time to cook my breakfast in the morning and sit at the kitchen table to eat. My go to breakfast is a homemade breakfast shake that I have been using for over 5 years. This works great for me, but may not work for everyone.
